This system collects stock data from all companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and computes their valuation based on key metrics like the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and computes their valuation based on metrics like the PE Ratio and Forward PE Ratio. Each week, stocks are ranked by their valuation to highlight the top 10 overall and the top 10 within each sector. The sectors covered in this analysis include Technology, Healthcare, Financials, Consumer Discretionary, Energy, Industrials, Utilities, Real Estate, Consumer Staples, Communication Services, and Materials. By analyzing stocks within these sectors, the system provides both a broad market view and sector-specific insights.

How Valuations Are Calculated

• PE Ratio (Price to Earnings Ratio): The PE ratio is calculated by dividing the current price of a stock by its earnings per share (EPS).
  Formula: PE Ratio = Stock Price / Earnings Per Share (EPS)
• Forward PE Ratio: Similar to the PE Ratio but uses future earnings estimates instead of past earnings.
  Formula: Forward PE Ratio = Stock Price / Estimated Future Earnings Per Share
• Market Cap (Market Capitalization): The total market value of a company’s outstanding shares. It is calculated by multiplying the current stock price by the total number of outstanding shares.
  Formula: Market Cap = Stock Price x Total Outstanding Shares
• Volume: The total number of shares traded during a specific period. It reflects the liquidity of a stock.

By evaluating these metrics, investors can identify undervalued stocks and trends in different sectors. The system highlights the lowest valuations overall and per sector each week.
